Software

Since its establishment, our company who has taken as a mission watching closely the advancements in software and hardware technologies, along numerous ready-to-go solutions has developed bundled software for library and archive systems.

The first DOS based library software developed in Turkey. It has reached a total number of 220 users.
  • 1990 Dokmer

A DOS based dynamic (changeable with respect to the needs of the user) archive software.

A Windows based library software that has been developed using Delphi and Oracle. We are currently working on the upgrading of all its users to MiLAS.
  • 1998 DokmerW

A Windows based visual archive software. Current users are being transferred to MiLAS.
  • 2003 MiLAS

The one and only platform-free library software. The new version (4.0) has been developed with approximately 20 beta users and has been released for full use in June 2005. Currently we have 375 active users with a total of 1,200,000 records.
  • 2008 Open Archive System

The publications with different material types can be stored in a single database. The international search engines can acccess the data that the system stores.
  • 2008 MiDAS

The Software is an advanced Image Archive which answers the requirements for compainies.
  • 2008 Theseaurus

The system contains the meanings, the used and the used for tems, the broader and the narrower terms of words. The relations are specified by the administrators.

Thanks to the integrity in system analysis and design processes and user-friendly programming techniques, KutupB software which is developed nearly 20 years ago and which is a product of old technologies is still being used in many places.

Parallel to the advancements in the software industry, these systems have been renovated in time using various tools. Mikrobeta, who has gone through a restructuring in 2001, by defining that system-dependent and offline programs will soon be outdated due to the radical changes in the software industry, has decided to develop platform-free and open-source software systems. The first outcome of this decision, MiLAS, was presented to users in late 2003.

In early 2004, hardware technologies department has been completely disintegrated from the company into an independent marketing firm. And Mikrobeta has begun to operate in the software industry.
